Charlz Nithin Jerold

Charlz Nithin Jerold is a Bioinformatics Research Analyst in the Gomez Lab at Washington University in St. Louis. He earned his Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from Saint Louis University in 2024. In his current role, Charlz supports a wide range of bioinformatics analyses for the Gomez Lab, including data preprocessing, quality control, reference genome alignment, somatic variant detection, and statistical interpretation. He brings extensive experience in cancer genomics, software development, and pipeline implementation, and is well-versed in the computational frameworks established by the Gomez Lab. His work plays a key role in advancing the lab’s mission to uncover the molecular underpinnings of cancer through integrative genomic analysis.
